Terms of Service

Last updated: April 20, 2026 · Applies to vizpt.com

VizPT is a single-purpose tool: you give it a short video clip; it returns an AI-generated timeline of actions (verb + object + direction + confidence). Nothing more. These Terms describe what you can and cannot do with the Service, and what we commit to in return.

1. Who operates the Service

VizPT is built and operated by Sandeep Kukreja as an independent research-grade demo. It is not a registered legal entity and is offered without warranty. Contact details and author information live at sandeepkukreja.net.

2. What you are agreeing to

By uploading a clip, recording from your camera, or dropping a file onto the page, you confirm that:

3. Content we will not process

VizPT is not a surveillance, stalking, or doxxing tool. We refuse to process — and may immediately block IPs that attempt — the following:

4. How the Service actually works

Your browser samples frames from your clip at 2 frames per second, downscales each frame to 320×240 pixels, and transmits only those downgraded JPEGs to our backend. Your original video file is never uploaded. The backend hands frame pairs to our vision pipeline for action extraction. Results are returned to your browser and stored in our admin database for quality review and abuse monitoring.

5. Rate limits and fair use

The Service is rate-limited per IP. Attempting to circumvent limits (rotating IPs, scripted uploads, distributed clients) may result in permanent block without notice. We may throttle, degrade, or disable the Service entirely at any time for any reason, including cost overrun.

6. Your content, our processing

You retain ownership of every clip you submit. By submitting, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license solely to: (a) sample and transmit frames to our AI provider, (b) generate and display results back to you, and (c) retain the sampled frames and derived metadata for fraud prevention, abuse review, and service improvement. This license is narrower than "we can do whatever we want with your video" — it is bounded by what the Service technically requires.

7. AI output is advisory

Verbs, objects, directions, and confidence scores are statistical guesses from a probabilistic model. They will sometimes be wrong, occasionally laughably wrong. Do not use VizPT output as the sole basis for legal, medical, safety, insurance, or employment decisions. Do not cite it as evidence. Do not deploy it in a system where an error has material consequence.

8. No warranty, no liability

The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (merchantability, fitness, non-infringement, accuracy) and all liability for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Total aggregate liability is capped at USD 0.

9. Termination

We may remove content, block your access, or discontinue the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time — there is nothing to uninstall.

10. Changes

These Terms may change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the change.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the author's place of residence. Disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith correspondence at sandeepkukreja.net shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that place.
